Review: Airhead (Airhead #1) by Meg Cabot

Airhead (Airhead, #1)

Meg Cabot expands her huge fan base with this slightly darker, more mysterious novel - without losing any of her signature heart and humor.

EM WATTS IS GONE.

Emerson Watts didn’t even want to go to the new SoHo Stark Megastore grand opening. But someone needed to look out for her sister, Frida, whose crush, British heartthrob Gabriel Luna, would be singing and signing autographs there—along with the newly appointed Face of Stark, teen supermodel sensation Nikki Howard.

How was Em to know that disaster would strike, changing her—and life as she’d known it—forever? One bizarre accident later, and Em Watts, always the tomboy, never the party princess, is no longer herself. Literally.

Hardcover, 337 pages
Published May 13th 2008 by Scholastic Inc.
**From Goodreads**
After an accident at the Stark Megastore opening, Em is no longer who she was before. She wakes up and she is now Nikki Howard, a teen supermodel. Her thoughts and thinking are still her own, but she now has Nikki's body. Em is uprooted from the life she has always had and now has to live Nikki's life....her modeling, her friends, her loft.
This is the first book I have read that involved a brain transplant resulting in the memory of the owners brain, with the body of someone else's. It is a simple, but good read. Doesn't give much details on some things, and I LOVE details :) Onto book two now!
