The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate percentage of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance between her and the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand.
Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

I LOVED this book! Loved it loved it loved it! Looks can be deceiving, and in Beautiful Disaster you meet sweet good girl Abby Abernathy and bad boy Travis Maddox. This book is captivating. Makes you happy, sad, laugh..... I caught myself so many times either laughing, smiling, or tearing up while reading. I read Beautiful Disaster in one day, that was how much I LOVED this book!
A majority of the book is set at Eastern University. Abby first meets Travis at a floating fight ring, right after he won. His cousin (and roommate) is Abby's best friend's boyfriend. Abby and Travis have their ups and downs throughout this book. Each learning more about themselves as time goes on.
Beautiful Disaster is very well written. Half way through the book I was satisfied with the story, and wouldn't have minded if it had ended. I am VERY glad that there was so much more to come.
**On a side note, Abby's best friend is named America, the first thing I thought of when hearing this name is Where the Heart Is. In WtHI the baby was named Americus. The movie is set in Oklahoma...and the author is from Oklahoma....see, had absolutely nothing to do with the books, I just wanted to give my thoughts on it..hehe**
